AAEV committee

Each committee Chair serves a two-year term, followed by an additional two-year term as Immediate Past Chair to help ensure continuity and consistent leadership.

If you're interested in serving as Chair, joining a specific committee, or proposing a new one, we’d love to hear from you! We’re currently in the early stages of forming committee memberships and would greatly value your leadership, expertise, and ideas.

Communication Committee

  • The Vesicle Vibe: AAEV Online Seminar Series will serve as an educational platform for junior faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and students involved in EV research.

  • The series will feature two types of events:

       1. Junior faculty/postdoc-led research presentations

      2. Fireside chat conversations with senior faculty

Award Committee

  • Developing and refining award categories for AAEV conferences

  • Establishing selection criteria and evaluation processes to ensure fairness, transparency, and recognition of outstanding contributions in extracellular vesicle research.

  • Leading the nomination and review process, coordinating with committee members to assess nominees and select award recipients.
